1. How to apply Charms, Rhinestones, Dried Flowers and Flat Shapes

The following steps show how simple these are to apply,

1. Apply 1-2 coats of nail polish and allow drying time. Apply any decals first that you wish too use and apply a layer of top coat.

2. Small charms, flat shapes and rhinestones, can be placed onto a wet layer of top coat, but large charms will have to be glued on, so you would have to wait for the first layer of top coat to dry fully, before placing a small drop of glue on the desired place on your nail and then placing the charm on top.

3. Finish with another 1-2 coats of top coat to finish and seal your work. (Handy tip)

HANDY TIP

Rhinestones can be easily picked up and put in place with a damp tip of an orange stick.

2. Attaching nail dangles

Nail dangles simple to use and give instantly stunning results,

There are 2 ways to use them, either by the following method using a nail drill, which we sell either on its own or in the gold dangle set which come with a drill inside the pack.

1. Apply 1-2 coats of polish and allow drying time and then apply any decals or stickers required, finishing with a layer top coat and allow sufficient drying time.

2. Pierce a hole in the desired place on your nail, by twisting the drill from the underside of your nail. (Handy tip)

3. Twist open one of the rings supplied and hook on a dangle.

4. Hook the ring through the hole you have just created and twist the ring back to close.

Do not pierce hole too close to edge or tip of nail as this can cause your nail to split or crack.

Or you can use nail glue (only available to use with certain kits like Broadway's!) The following method can be used,

1. Apply 1-2 coats of polish and allow drying time and then apply any decals or stickers required, finishing with a layer top coat and allow to dry completely.(this is very important or the glue will not bind properly)

2. Apply a drop of nail glue to desired place on your nail and place the smooth side of the charm on to the glued area. Hold down for a few seconds for it to start to set (time will vary depending on the glue that is used)

3. Once fully dried, apply 1-2 coats of top coat to seal on the charm.

5. Finish with 1-2 coats of top coat to seal you work and allow to completely dry.

5. Using a stamping kit

1. Paint your nails with 2 coats of your desired polish.

2. Clean the printing plate with a cotton wool pad and nail polish remover.

3. Apply polish to the chosen design on the plate.

4. Quickly scrape of the excess polish with the blade provided.

5. Quickly press the applicator over the design.

6. Place the applicator with design on to the the desired area on the nail, if using the large stamping kit there is a setting to get your design exactly in the middle of each nail by lining up the guides.

7. Lift off the applicator and admire your finished work, Certain plates have the image in several parts, meaning you can build up the design with multiple colours easily, this works best when used with the large stamping kit as each time the design is lined up exactly and the design matches perfectly.

8. Once the design is dry, finish with a couple of coats of top coat to seal, and embelish if required with rhinestones or gems.

6. Applying striping tape and laser strands

Adding beautiful lines always adds to a design, by using striping tape this can be achieved quickly and effectively, while adding fantastic colour and vibrance to your nails. Using laser strands adds a unique touch to your nails too, as they add something a little different crating many different effects and also come in many colours.

1. Paint your nails with 1-2 coats of nail polish and allow drying time.

2. While your polish is still wet, cut off the required amount of striping tape for your design or select desired amount of laser strands. (Do not stretch tape as it will cause it to curl and lift, just let it lay flat)

3. Lay tape or strand across your nail, extending past the base of the nail onto the finger, then cut of any excess.

4. At the front edge cut just short of the free edge of your nail, this will stop it lifting and peeling.

5. Repeat until your design is complete.

6. Seal your design with 1-2 coats of top coat and allow to completely dry.

7. Applying nail art stickers

A quick simple and effective way of adding nail art to your nails is by using nail art stickers, which are are easy to use and also fantastic for little fingers too as we stock nail art sticker designs that appeal to everyone.

1. Apply 1-2 coats of you chosen nail polish to your nails and allow drying time.

2. Simply peel your chosen design off the backing paper.

3. Place design onto nail and press down firmly.

4. Apply 1-2 coats of top coat to you nails to finish and seal your design and allow to completely dry.

8. Applying nail art water slide decals

One of the easiest and most effective ways to decorate your nails is by using nail art water decals, each vary slightly from brand to brand but the main concept is outlined below,

1. Paint your nails with 1-2 coats of your chosen nail polish and allow drying time.

2. From your decal sheet choose the design you wish to use and cut around it, get as close as you can to the design without cutting it.

3. By using your finger, apply a few drops of water to the back of the design. The water should start to penetrate in about 30 seconds.

4. When the design is ready it will slide off the backing paper easily, if it does not, then apply a few more drops of water and wait a few more seconds.

5. You can then position the design onto your nail and press it down gently, if you wish you can apply more designs and create a layered effect.

6. Apply 1-2 coats of top coat, this will help to seal your design and will disperse any excess paper left around the design.

7. Put your hands out in front of you and admire your beautiful work. All packs include full instruction on the back.
